Scotland – Royal Liverpool

Jonas continues to take very cool shots with his iphone and zip them over for inclusion on the blog.  I know that he and Richard have taken hundreds more so I’m sure they will amplify these posts with more of the landscape shots.  Jonas says Richard is doing very well today – the walking seems to be doing him a lot of good so I will note that for his return.

So all told, Richard says they have played seven of the nine British Open courses and among the four of them, are debating their favorites.  Richard is so grateful to Jonas, Dru and Mark who have done all of the driving and attended to travel details so he could rest when he wasn’t playing golf.

Meanwhile, on this side of the ocean, Mike and I volunteered with the Special Olympics State Golf event organized by our friend and neighbor, Jim Porter.  It was a most enjoyable morning and the joy it brought to the participants made it so worthwhile!  This afternoon, there was an organizational picnic to create a local presence for Pancan (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network) here in Indy.  More to come on that later.

So, here are a few pictures from today.  We look forward to Richard’s safe return tomorrow evening!

Thanks all for your interest and support, as always.

Jane

Wow – the courses look so beautiful. The golfers look pretty good too! Glad to hear that the weather has cooperated for the most part too.
