Christmas chat

January 4, 2010
by

Hello all,

`Thought I’d post a photo of the Coadys, Lafaves and Sodergrens sharing Christmas, thanks to  video-conferencing technology.  We were so bummed that the weather kept the Lafaves in Indy for the holidays, and were also missing our Sodergren relatives in Sweden.  But thanks to the profusion of Macs in the family, we were able to set up a three-way chat session and share Christmas morning, and the madness that is the opening of gifts at Mom’s house!

Love to all `Faves, friends and family

If we look back and think of our favourite times, without a doubt, it would be those spent with the Lefaves on and off the squash courts. We have always wished that we could be closer, but distance has never changed our fond memories.
God must have a plan for you Richard. Along with translations for the hockey minded Quebecois, he must need a very special person on his team.
May you enjoy every day — Hit some eagles for us!!
All our love and support for you,Jane and your family

Hi Jane and Richard — We were so sorry to hear of Richard’s diagnosis in your Christmas letter. We’re touched and awed by your positive attitudes in the face of what must be really tough sometimes — you guys are amazing and inspiring! Hang in there and enjoy your travels. So glad to hear you got a reprieve from old man winter. Florida sounds wonderful (and you can actually find your golf balls when it’s not snowing all the time!) Remember that California is sunny and warm most of the time too, and you’re always welcome here.

We loved your story about the purple lights in your neighborhood, Jane. There’s a purple candle blazing in our hearts for an old friend we remember very fondly! Love and blessings, Toni and Garry
