Back Home Again in Indiana

February 19, 2010

Hi all,

Richard and I have returned to Indy.  We had sunshine and clear skies right until we crossed the border from Kentucky into Indiana.  As you can gather from the description, we decided spur of the moment to drive home and have another road trip together!  And I think we’re due to have sunny skies here tomorrow so that augers well for the first full day home.

The kids had cleaned the house before we returned so that was great!  The first thing I had to do was to take down the Christmas wreath – even before unloading the car!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

That was quite the road trip. Glad to hear you’re home safe and sound!

Great smile, Dickie boy! I can’t quite see where your right hand is in one of them….is that the reason for that Babes Lafave grin?!?

Glad you had a good trip home. Indy doesn’t have pelicans, or as much sunshine, but there’s no place like home.

Road trips with Mr. Lafave are always quite special. I will never forget our little golfing excursion to Ireland.

    Hi Richard and Jane,

Glad to hear you went to a warm climate and are back home safely. Just to let you know Bob and I are thinking of you both and the kids. How is Richard feeling? We also are following the Olympics closely. I believe the Canadians are beating the Americans for gold medals. I bet your neighbours don’t like that too much haha. Anyways, we will try to call soon to talk to you both. Will keep in touch by reading the blog.

    Take care,

    The Kelly’s
